CRUMBOX
"Map Of The Sky"
Time Bomb Recordings

The Big Bang...Crumbox is back with their second full-length release, "Map Of The Sky" on Time Bomb Recordings. A brief history of creation...Crumbox was formed in 1992 and is the brainchild of lead singer and guitarist Scott Bradford. Relocating from his hometown of Chapel Hill, North Carolina to the City of Angels, Scott hooked up with brothers Rich and Rob Wellerstein, who had been playing in local clubs with a variety of bands. The three connected as musicians and, adding Frank Consolo to the mix, the four incarnated Crumbox. The band set themselves apart from most of their contemporaries by touring as the opening act for bands like Archers of Loaf, Sammy, the Meices, Bivouac, Toadies, Magic Dirt and Chune rather than exhaust the Los Angeles "pay to play" circuit so popular at that time. In 1995 Crumbox released its first 7", "You Bought Sound," and later that year were featured on the IRS compilation "Six-Sided Single." These early releases earned the band positive reviews and attention at college radio. In fall of 1996 the band went into the studio with Mark Trombino (Drive Like Jehu) and recorded their debut full-length release for Time Bomb Recordings' "Resident Double U" to critical acclaim.
