On its upcoming release, the merited Spanish grindguard takes heart and covers unforgotten hits of their favourite bands of the olden days with raging passion and tremendous ardour. Haemorrhage know what they owe to their inspirational Godfathers and don't leave themselves wide open. These deadly torreros bash out their repertoire with class and perversion, leaving the listener speechless, even topping the world famous Toledo Steel. "Loatesongs" includes fascinating interpretations of songmonsters by Defecation, Carcass, Entombed, Regurgitate, Impetigo, Suicidal Tendencies, Cryptic Slaughter, Impaled Nazarene, as well as one original composition. As a special suprise, the CD includes a live version of the ever green "Doctor Doctor" by the legendary UFO representing the forte of Haemorrhage. The spectrum of the cover songs shows the wide range of stylistic influences, which the Spanish quintett interprets magnificently with a morbid footnote. The excellent and polished production does not let you miss even the slightest detail, thus the record proves to be grinding entertainment on the highest level. It simply leaves the competition in the dust because of it's individual espirit. With this noisy extravaganza, Spain's most brutal export delivers another great example for diverse and impressivly arranged grindcore, that again shows you what this music is all about. |
