Anthrax"Music Of Mass Destruction" I knew upon just looking at this disk that I didn't even have to listen to it to know it was gonna be a killer recording. Anthrax, the masters of the mosh, release this live cd/dvd from the 'We've Come For You All 2003/2004 tour'. That's right. A combo pack for your Anthrax viewing/listening pleasures. The cd and dvd are recorded at The Metro in Chicago, IL. on December 5th 2003, with some additional footage shot the next evening in Flint, MI. This is Anthrax captured live at their best. Well if you've seen them as many times as I have, or even maybe once, it is hard to pick. None the less, this is a killer show and showcases the raw, energetic fury we've all come to love about Anthrax. It was pretty cool watching the dvd as I was at their show two nights earlier in Indiana. So I now have the memories of that show on disk. Even though in parts of the show when Rob Caggiano was wailing what appeared to be some rippen solos, you could not hear his playing. That is not at all what I remember from the show I attended. Even with this little distraction, this is a release for anyone. Very good video shooting and production. You can tell they meant to do it. As one drunk guy from the extras section yells out, "Anthrax ...is cool." Indeed they are and this is just another one of their ways of proving it. The cd track listing is as follows: ' What Doesn't Die, Got The Time, Caught In A Mosh, Safe Home, Room For One More, Anti-social, Nobody Knows Anything, Fueled, Inside Out, Refuse To Be Denied, I Am The Law, Only'. This cd is of course edited for the allotted time of a cd. The full show you get on the dvd with tracks such as ' Metal Thrashing Mad, Indians, Belly Of The Beast, Bring The Noise , 604, Be All End All'. I can't say enough that you need this in your collection. |
