By Wayne Klinger I'm throwing this local band in because I was impressed when I saw them live at a little dive close to me (7 minutes!!). They are a 4-piece from Nescopeck, PA (about an hour from me)--this is their 3rd self-release out of their 4-year existence. Selling 5,000 units in 4 years and touring 6 states, I think they can do better considering the bands in the underground sell 3 times more than that with just one release. The vocalist is Jennifer Cerreta--a seductive to rowdy-styled singer, who can do a hell of a Janis Joplin and be just as soothing as Jewel. The CD has 11 songs but only racks in about 38 minutes with a cover of Zeppelin's, "Going To California" which is well-done. The best-case scenario for what they sound like and music style would be Sixpence None The Richer, Heart, Collective Soul, Natalie Merchant and Sheryl Crow. A great band live and their music speaks in many ways. P.O.Box 161, Nescopeck, PA 18635 USA
