By Paul Hanson The promo sticker on this CD doesn't lie. It proudly proclaims "fans of Black Sabbath, Goatsnake, sHeavy, this record is for you." And that is so true. This trio plays a thick blend of distorted guitars, throbbing bass and adventurous drums. This is long, just under 70 minutes, so get a good bottle of your favorite beverage, light your favorite cancer-inducer and listen. I hear a lot of Black Sabbath influence, over the other two aforementioned bands, but that's primarily because I'm more familiar with their music. sHeavy is great and so is Goatsnake, but I've listened to BS so long, everything similar sounds more like them than anyone else. © 2000, BBHrdRpt
