By Paul Hanson This band starts out strong and ends with a final surge that makes me smile when I listen to them. Aggressive Pro-Pain styled stop and start hardcore with more of a metal edge. There is even some Helmet influence that comes out in "Death Of Superman" when the music hushes to let the vocalist preach "A man of truth/ Gave it up for/ His own good/ this is the death/ of Superman." The band confronts relationship turmoil in "Piece by One" with emotionally-charged lyrics. This is a strong, young band. They need some more exposure before they become more well-known. |
