New bands come and go on a daily basis and anyone who pays attention to what's out there can always say, "ben there, done that, heard it all before." That is, of course, if you haven't heard "Desolation" by Shellyz Raven. Are they rock? Are they gothic? I can't honestly say yes, but, I wouldn't say no either. Let's just say they're different, they're good and this is an album that's well worth checking out if you're interested in something fresh, new and entertaining.
