Finally, a major label has put out a release that simply blows away everything that's currently out there. It's not the alternative garbage that we're forced to listen to everytime we turn on the radio. This is something different...something special...something that just, plain and simple, kicks freakin' ass. Straight forward, in your face, loud, heavy rock 'n' roll music. Thank God some people still care enough to make damn good music. Crushdown is gonna be huge, count on it. I was so impressed with this disc, I took it to a show with me one day. They usually crank some CD's before the bands hit the stage. I had them put this on and it blew everyone away. And nobody knew who it was except for me and the sound guy. This is just what the world needs, more rock 'n' roll and I've gotta heap massive amounts of praise upon MCA for delievering something this good to the metal hungry masses. When I first got into music, this was the sound that got my gears going. This is the stuff that made parents tell their kids to "turn that crap down." Well, sorry Ma, we're not gonna turn it down because what we have here are four guys who have been blessed by the true spirit of rock music and we're gonna crank the shit out of it. When people start voting for album of the year, this disc better be included in the vote. If it's not, I'd really start to wonder about the music industry!
