Sevendust

Sevendust have become quite popular over the last few years. If this sampler is a taste of what the new album is like, then Sevendust fans should definitely get into it! The band are playing their unique brand of aggressive, angst-ridden, groove-heavy hard rock/metal. They are quite a talented group, and have a sound that's all their own; they can't really be categorized or pigeonholed, and I suppose this is one of the secrets to their success, along with their musical ability. Singer Clint Lowry has a strong voice, and the rest of the band play very well. They rock out on all the songs, except for the last one, "Angel's Son", a moving ballad, written in memory of Snot's Lynn Strait.These are good songs, in the typical Sevendust style.
