Thunder Reigns

In the music world of
today, it takes a lot of balls to promote yourself
with a single song. But, that's just what Thunder Reigns has decided to
do. Although, I'm quite sure that the band is looking for a lasting
career in music, they mention the "one hit wonders" as their
reason for
this unusual way of promotion. To be honest with you, I can totally
understand their way of thinking. Really, ponder this thought for a
moment. I'm sure you can name at least one song that would classify as a
one hit wonder. One of my personal favorites is "Come On
Eileen" by
Dexy's Midnight Runners. Now, I'm sure most of you have heard this song
before and you probably even know some of the words to it. But, I'll bet
you can't remember anything else about the album that this song appeared
on, can you? Hell, I have the album and I can't tell you anything about
it because I only picked it up for this one song. Anyway, the point is,
most of those so called one hit wonders have left their mark on you with
a single song and that's just what Thunder Reigns is hoping to do. The
only difference here is, they want you to remember this one song and
they want to leave you wanting more. It's a great promotional idea that
I'm sure will work out rather well for the band, especially since the
song "Evil One" is a pretty rocking tune. After hearing it, I
know I'd
like to hear more. The song caught my attention and, if you give it a
listen, it's sure to capture yours as well!
