Emerson, Lake & Palmer
"Pictures At An Exhibition"

Written By: Paul Autry

I have a Kiss video where Paul Stanley makes kind of a joke about listening to Emerson, Lake & Palmer and, after watching this release, I can see why he said what he said. This release almost put me to sleep. If I wasn't drinking coffee when I sat down to do my review, I would've been out like a light. This is another release where you pretty much have to be a fan to appreciate this. If you're a fan, you'll appreciate the fact that you can flip the disc over and listen to it in your CD player. This is like the third review where I've said this, but, damn, that's a cool feature. Anyway...you all know who Emerson, Lake & Palmer is and, if you're a fan, you'll pick this up. If you're not, well, you're probably not even reading this review. So, it probably doesn't matter what I say. For the people it does matter to...this release is an eleven song concert that was recorded in 1970 and that pretty much says it all. If you need any other information, just pick up a copy of this release and check it out for yourself.
