Nashville Pussy"Keep On F_ckin in Paris" DVD Nashville meets Paris as the ultimate raunch and roll band invades Gay Pari! The French are known for their fine, high standard tastes and etiquette, but I'm sure that changed after a visit from Nashville Pussy! This DVD is a recording of their Paris performance, and it shows them kicking ass on stage, in all their Southern fried redneck glory! NP pull no punches (like they ever do!), letting loose on stage, kicking out the jams from beginning to end, cranking out their hard as nails, booty kicking hard rock! Their sound is like classic style hard rock/metal (lots of 70s influence) having a head on collision with punk, and some good old Southern blues thrown in! They rip and tear through the whole set, playing all their best known songs like "Say Something Nasty", "Struttin' Cock", "Piece Of Ass", "You Give Drugs A Bad Name", "Fried Chicken And Coffee", "Go To Hell", "Keep On F*ckin'", "Let's Ride", and "Go Motherf*cker Go" (the last track in which female guitarist Ruyter (pronounced "rider") Suys rips off her black leather trousers, sporting only a leopard printed bra underneath, and then proceeds to tear up her guitar, literally, like a madwoman, giving us a hell of a finale!), and a cover of AC/DC's "Shot Down In Flames", showing that subtlety is definitely not the name of the game for Nashville Pussy! And for all their raunch and nastiness, the band can play, for sure! Ruyter is a hell of a guitarist! If Ted Nugent ever had a female counterpart, she's it! The rest of the band (vocalist/guitarist Blaine Cartwright, bassist Katielynn Campbell, and drummer Jeremy Thompson) are as tight as Ruyter's leather pants and sounds great live, really raising hell on stage! This is one band who knows how to ROCK, the good old fashioned way! Nothing fancy, no additives, just good, hard, ass kicking, raunchy, sleazy, gritty rock and roll! Their two man, two woman lineup also makes them unique. Bonus materials on the DVD include a video for "Say Something Nasty" (which shows the band playing in what looks like a warehouse while sexily dressed roller skaters skate around and play "Rollerball"), a picture gallery, lyrics, and "sing along" option in some songs, where the lyrics appear on the screen, like subtitles, and you can sing along, if you don't already have the words memorized.
