Punkervision "As Friends Rust/Strike Anywhere"

by Alex S. Johnson

The true attitude of punk music isn't long and drawn out bullshit. It's short and to the point and that's the spirit in which this DVD was created. When you consider that fact, there's really not a whole lot to tell you about this release except for the basic stuff, which you can get just by looking at the front cover.

Two bands performing live at Camden Underworld in London on November 16th, 2001. The two bands are As Friends Rust and Strike Anywhere. As Friends Rust do eleven songs. Stike Anywhere does ten. The stage is small, not much room to move...and it's crowded. It's loud, energetic and in your face. It's what a punk show is all about. In fact, it's so in your face that it's almost like you're right there in front of the stage. It's a good quality DVD and that's pretty much all there is to it. If you know the bands, you'll purchase this release. http://www.punkervision.net
